slow noche A wicked and delicious brew of epic, goth-adjacent psych rock with blues and world influences. This band is dangerous and on the prowl, but don't be surprised if you find yourself dancing to a few of these numbers. The lead singer ratchets up the intensity, conjuring up imagery that reflects the darkness and impending storm the band kicks up behind her. A refreshingly singular and distinct sound. Highly recommended.

Raw rock n' roll beauty, dark, epic and memorable. Organic and heavy, more riven wood than forged metal, more booty-shaker than math-maker. Six songs conjured from reverb and rhythm, spanning blues and bangers, and in the darkness binding them.

The Fells 02:30
from my home High up in the fells
I saw the lights below the pursuit will break it will break my bones Light slants Into the room Rain falls again the damp
seeps deep down If I run far enough
and if I run fast enough
and when I end
at the start
again and again light slants Into the room Rain falls again the damp
seeps deep down

Many Miles 02:27
I hear the pines Yea, they’re callin’ my name Dark swamps beckon Drivin’ me insane Bleach white sands shift beneath my feet Gonna be some time before I get some sleep Many miles to go Keep it steady, keep it slow Many miles to go Keep it steady, keep it slow My heels rubbed raw By a full leather boot The rain drenched my gear And campfire wood Sun’s goin’ down Settin’ over them pines The light goes dim And then there’s no more sunshine Many miles to go Keep it steady, keep it slow Many miles to go Keep it steady, keep it slow I hear the pines Yea, they’re callin’ my name Many miles to go Keep it steady, keep it slow Many miles to go Keep it steady, keep it slow
4.
The Sinner 03:40
Ah, who’s that? Who moves The hand sewn Curtain with golden yellow checks and roses His tattooed fingers Part the curtain Who is revealed The sinner Welcome home My son Sit down Let me see your hands Cross stitched with daisies His marked fingers Starched cloth Crisp white Smooth wrinkles From the old world And he says Let’s play bed is made my son stay here Your young face is More weathered than mine Close the door My child Sleep peacefully on fresh linens Stitched with plum blossoms
5.
Ursa 03:13
Ursa My mother, Fur dusky and skin loose She saunters She’s ready to eat Dark void she is Heartbeat slow slow Dark mouth white teeth Wrap around meat Cross the river to find her tracks Her tracks will always be there Oh mother Oh oh mother She told me to turn back Lost the trail, I lost her scent Her tracks will always be there Oh mother Oh oh mother She told me to turn back Which way to the river Which way down to the trail Whoa, Mother, Where did you go? Whoa, Mother, Where did you go? Dark void she is Her heartbeat slow slow Dark mouth white teeth Wrap around meat Fine joints, break these bones the trackless sky will always be there Oh mother Oh oh mother She told me to turn back Lost the trail, I lost her scent Her tracks will always be there Oh mother Oh oh mother She told me to turn back Down low, low low, in the lowlands More outrageous than a mother
6.
Winter Thaw 03:20
I feel like I found solid gold Wore red, and spit fire found and boiled the fountain of youth Watched the ice melt in our hands that’s what we did and gold and gold and gold rained down on me rained down on me rained down on me Warmth greets the skin Of the earth In her finest raiment Strides forth I drank from the Holy Grail Wore red, and braved the cold Found the edge of the winter storm And sowed seeds with our own hands And gold rains down on me Rains down on me Rains down on me Gold rains on me Rains down on me Rains down on me Rains down on me
